The RETROFIT55 Consortium met at CNR premises in Rome on February 7-9th, 2023, where the following points were discussed :
- Project Management aspects
- Data & information that have to be provided for various Work-Packages and their inter-linkages
- DSS general features: Model input data, retrofit surrogate models and IT model
- Operational synthesis: Weather routing, fouling and machine status
- Electrification of retrofitting options
- A bulk carrier profile for the case study
- Flexible and rigid sail concepts
- ALS requirements, safety, performance, Risk assessment
- Best practices for retrofitting and trials protocol
Group meetings were organized independently to discuss the individual Work-Packages in detail.
